Networking

You meet people. But how many of those relationships actually go somewhere? Networking does not start with the number of contacts. It starts with how you enter a conversation, what you notice and what you do after the conversation ends.

You may recognize the situation

You may recognize one of these situations.

  • You leave events with contacts, but no clear reason to continue the conversation.
  • You know it would be useful to follow up, but you hesitate because you do not want to appear interested only when you need something.
  • Meeting people is easy; turning the meeting into a real professional relationship is harder.
  • Networking starts to feel artificial precisely when you try too hard to do it ‘right’.

Is it for you?

For people who do not want to ‘do networking’. They want to build relationships.

Managers, entrepreneurs, specialists, sales professionals and others whose opportunities, collaboration or influence also depend on the relationships they build.

What it is not

This is not a course about perfect lines.

If you want a collection of formulas for quickly persuading strangers, that is not the purpose of this program. We work with relevance, reciprocity and continuity.

Why it matters

Meeting people is not the same as building relationships.

You can leave an event with ten new contacts and still have none of those conversations lead anywhere. The problem is not always a lack of people. Often it is a lack of intention, relevance or continuity.

What you want to do differently

More options for what you do before, during and after the conversation.

  • Enter a conversation without immediately turning it into a pitch.
  • Notice what matters to the other person and where there is genuine relevance.
  • Choose which relationships are worth continuing and build follow-up with context.
  • Ask, offer and connect people without turning the relationship into a transaction.

The practice

Conversations, practice, real situations.

We work with networking situations you already encounter: events, introductions, one-to-one conversations, follow-up and relationships you want to develop. The goal is not to memorize lines, but to notice more and choose your actions more intentionally.

What we work on

What you do before, during and after the conversation.

How to enter a conversation without turning it into a pitch
How to discover what matters to the other person
How to build reciprocity without making it transactional
How to follow up without appearing only when you need something
